As we get ready for May, we’re excited to share fun new activities and events to check out with your family. Whether you like festivals, food, sports, or nature -we have the best of local family fun for you!
- Spring farms. See the baby chicks, rabbits, goats, and more animals and fun at area farms.
- UW Arboretum Lilacs. Take a family walk, and get great pictures as the lilacs bloom!
- May 4-5. Cinco de Mayo - not just for adults. Make a pinnata at the Curious Crafter or
- May 8 - Madison Night Market. Just ahead of UW graduation, explore State St. with tons of local food, samples, and other vendors. Continues in June, August, September, and October.
- May 11 - Mother's Day. Check out our growing list of brunches and other ways to celebrate the moms in our lives!
- May 10-11 - Jurassic Quest. Roars into town with rides, a quest, digs, and more- use our promo code for 30% off!
- May 10, 17, and 31st - Madison Libraries 150th birthday. Check out branch celebrations on the 10th, and a major celebration at central library the 17th.
- May 16-18. Syttende Mae Festival in Stoughton. Annual Norwegian fest with a parade, games, and plenty more.
- May 17 - Kids Building Wisconsin. Tons of hands-on construction, STEM, and other activities and giveaways at McKee Park.
- May 23-25 - Brat Fest. The World's Largest, by the Alliant Center with performances, games, and of course - brats!
- May 28 - Sesame Street Live (sponsored). See your furry friends for a live adventure at Overture
- May 29 - School's out/teacher appreciation Bodega. At one of our favorite venues, explore in a big open area and enjoy food, music, and themed activities for kids.
- May 31-June 1. Festa Italia, also at McKee Park
