If you're like my family, getting great family pictures is a challenge. It's something we want to do, especially since we know the kids grow and change so fast we want to capture each stage in a special way.
But making the time, finding the right place and person - not to mention getting the kids to sit still and make a normal smile for 2 seconds is a nearly impossible!
Earlier this year we did family pictures with Samantha Ramsdell and she was awesome. She met us at the UW-Arboretum at a time that worked for us, and immediately made the kids feel comfortable. She answered their questions about her camera, let them "help" pick a good spot, and did a range of seated and active poses - including plenty of silly faces - so they were happy to do it the whole time.
