Every week, Macaroni KID Madison highlights free/low-cost ideas to do with kids in the Madison area in addition to the events in our newsletter. Click the links for all the details.

  1. Summer Restaurant WeekThe three-course menus are back, so check out a new spot or an old favorite to feel fancy for a night through Friday the 26th.
  2. Tuesday Tunes. Summer's are full of outdoor music options, and this Tuesday is packed with options from a music class for littles on Monroe St, a live show around the Capitol at noon, lion dancing in the afternoon and a market st. concert in the evening in Deforest, Angela Puerta in Fitchburg, a concert at Wetmore Park in Sun Prairie and Olbrich After Hours at the gardens
  3. Sun Prairie Kids Fest  - and fun run. Fun Prairie continues, with this Saturday's Kids Fest and color splash (a giant, and safe, chalk fight plus more fun), and stay the day for the fun run at 5.
  4. Atwood Fest. It's time for another east side festival this week, and this one has a designated kids fest area with activities to go along with lots of great food options and music Saturday/Sunday
  5. Breakfast on the Bay. We love Madison Boats, and this Saturday or Sunday rent a boat and get your pancakes (with toppings) as you paddle around from Brittingham Boats.

There are plenty more festivals and fun activities for kids this week - see our full calendar
