Every week, Macaroni KID Madison highlights free/low-cost ideas to do with kids in the Madison area in addition to the events in our newsletter and on our calendar. Click the links for all the details.
- Concerts on the Square - and see the kids area! Starting this Wednesday and running through 7/31, Concerts on the Square is an amazing outdoor event from the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. BYO picnic or there are tons of food carts, and the kids area has a fun theme and hands-on activities each week.
- Amara's Kid Karnival**. Saturday morning the superhero themed event features dancing, games, drinks, and a great parent and kid breakfast menu. Plus you can hit the Farmer's Market nearby!
- Festival Foods Lights the Isthmus. Saturday evening at Breese Stevens, check out all the music, games, and of course stay up for the fireworks. Kids 12 and under are free - and you can still win adult tickets here
- Overture's International Festival. This year the festival has a full Saturday and Sunday full of food, (free) performances from all parts of the world, a vendor's market and more on different stages and theaters throughout the building.
- Circus World's 65 Anniversary Days. In Baraboo, for just $6 see the circus and tours each day June 28-July 1, (fun kid tip, ride the free Merrimac Ferry on our drive to add to the adventure)!
