Every week, Macaroni KID Madison shares our five picks for things to do with your kids in the Madison area. Click the links for all the details.

This week GLEAM starts at Olbrich, it's the final (and still free) MadCity waterski show, plus:

1. Arts and Music. Enjoy David Landau Monday, the last lunchtime show downtown Tuesday pop-up art Monday or Wednesday in Middleton, stroll Monroe St. Friday, and Westmoreland Neighborhood nights Sunday.

2. Ride the STEAM train. From making your own robot with Badgerbots Monday, to UW astronomy or for older kids visit DreamBank with tons of local partners Tuesday.

3. Celebrate Books. Join a storytime or Summer Reading Celebration Wednesday, plus check out back-to-school book recommendations from our friend at LakeCity Books.

4. Jump Around. UW Football is back, but before the game, the family-friendly spot is Union South with the band/cheerleaders/kids games and Bucky.

5. Taste of Madison. It's like the festival was made for picky eaters --the whole point is to get small tastes of many great area restaurants Saturday-Sunday around the Capitol.
