Celebrate Summer Reading! Summer readers read 28,124 books, far surpassing our community goal of 20,000 books!
All summer readers are invited to celebrate with us Wednesday, August 30, 4 to 7 pm at the Village Green (the small park across from the Library at the corner of Library Street and Ethun Place). The party will feature music by DJ Justin, a bubble dance party, outdoor games, cotton candy, popcorn, and hot dogs. Each summer reading participant who read and logged at least one book will get one free hot dog; additional hot dogs will be available for $1 suggested donation, while supplies last.
