Description
With Wisconsin Football beginning spring practice this week, the program has announced the Wisconsin Football Spring Showcase, presented by UW Credit Union, set for Saturday, April 19 at Camp Randall Stadium. The open practice event will provide a preview of the 2025 season and a chance for fans to meet the team.
The Kohl’s Kids Combine will precede the scrimmage and run from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the McClain Center, adjacent to Camp Randall. Kids 12 and under will have the opportunity to test their skills in several fun and interactive sports-related activities.
Wisconsin’s open practice will feature 11-on-11 scrimmage situations. Fans will get a chance to see Wisconsin’s new offense, led by first-year Offensive Coordinator Jeff Grimes. Featuring transfer QB Billy Edwards Jr., the Badgers return to a run-oriented, physical, offensive scheme. On defense, the Badgers added 12 transfer additions to bolster a unit that returns key players in the secondary like CBs Ricardo Hallman and Nyzier Fourqurean.
After the two-hour scrimmage, fans will have the chance to access the Camp Randall turf for photos and interactions with Wisconsin’s student-athletes and coaches.
General admission tickets are now on sale for $5 each. Admission is free for Wisconsin Football season ticket holders, UW-Madison students and children 12 and under. All patrons must claim a ticket for entry.
