Description
Winter Carnival brings together students, community members, visitors, and alumni for a winter extravaganza. Whether you want to watch or join in the fun, there are activities for everyone, plus on-site dining and places to warm up.
On Saturday, February 8 Marvel as snowboarders and skiers perform daring tricks at the Rail Jam on the Memorial Union Terrace. Cheer on these brave athletes and feel the excitement.
Winter Carnival isn’t just for spectators. Try your hand at broomball, go ice skating, and explore other winter activities. Warm up with hot cocoa from our café or enjoy a hot, made-to-order pizza from Strada. Don’t forget to snap a picture with Lady Liberty—a Madison Winter Carnival tradition!
If you need a break from the cold, head indoors for crafting, Esports tournaments, and maple taffy making. Dance the night away at the Snow Ball on Friday, February 7. Check the events below for details!
