Stop by the Hill Farms State Office Building on Tuesday, July 30 for WisDOT’s Safer Together – Summer Safety Event! WisDOT staff and our partners will share their knowledge and show off specialty equipment throughout the day. Children’s activities, educational booths, and demonstrations will highlight the technologies and programs focused on transportation safety.
Activities include:
• K-9 team meet and greet
• Tour of a Wisconsin State Patrol cruiser
• Car seat fitting information booth
• Automated vehicle demonstration
• Motorcycle riding simulator
• Demonstration of crash scene reconstruction technology
• Q&A with a DMV examiner
• Work zone safety equipment demonstration
• Presentation on new vehicle technologies
• Transportation safety educational booths
• Children’s activities: coloring pages, build your own bridge and construction cone
• Meet a DNR warden and tour an ATV
• Fire truck meet and greet - 9 -10:30 a.m. and 1:30 - 3 p.m.
• AARP Smart DriverTek presentation -10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
• Car Fit Demonstration - 1:45 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Limited parking is available. Attendees may park at the Hill Farms State Office Building. The first 30 minutes are free
