I am a passionate music and yoga teacher and I am so excited you are here! Lagom (pronounced “law-gum”) is the Swedish concept of “Not too little. Not too much. Just right”. Not only does this term speak to my Scandinavian heritage, it perfectly describes my philosophy on yoga and music education. Children need a balance of structure and play in their creative experiences. Each class features beloved routines, new experiences, solid pedagogy, and a flexibility to fit the needs of each group of students. This unique combination of yoga and music instruction allows children to experience music and yoga in developmentally appropriate ways. Lagom classes combine two of my passions, music and yoga. I am a long time public school music educator and a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. I received my 200-hour training through “Breathe for Change” and my kids yoga training through “Meet Me In Child’s Pose”. My experience allows me to adjust and respond to my students in authentic and effective ways.
