Every week, Macaroni KID Madison highlights free/low-cost ideas to do with kids in the Madison area in addition to the events and family-friendly ideas in our newsletter. This week, we're excited for:
- Vote! Take the kids and get that future voter sticker - Tuesday's election has statewide and local impact on schools and our communities. Polls are open 7 am - 8 pm.
- UW Science Expeditions. Across campus Friday-Sunday, open houses, exhibits, hands-on activities, an encore "wonders of physics" show and it's all free!
- Forward Madison Kicks Off. The Flamingos have two games this week, including Saturday against UW-Madison. The family ticket is a great value, and they've got plenty of kid activities around Breese Stevens for those every level of soccer interest.
- Wisconsin Film Fest. At theaters all over Madison from April 3-10, it includes the "big screens, little folks" series of kid-friendly films. Plus kids are just $6 tickets!
- Week of the Young Child. Kicking off Sunday morning in Sun Prairie at their children's museum, the week features free open gyms, arts, music, and food.
What did we miss? You can add events to our calendar (it's free!) and contact us about promoting your event or organization.
