- Pi day. Friday, 3/14, head to Middleton for pie specials all day at Hubbard Ave. Diner, afternoon pizza tasting at the library, and head east in the evening to make a mini felt pi magnet
- St. Patrick's dance and craft. Get into the sprit and see free performances from Trinity Irish Dance Wednesday in Mt. Horeb, and Saturday in Verona (and more next week in Fitchburg and McFarland), or Slainte Irish Dancers Friday, family fun day at Brennan's Saturday, and make paper rainbows Thursday at the Curious Crafter
- The big sing. A community-wide singing experience, free at MyArts, hosted my Madison Youth Choirs Saturday morning.
- Maple Syrup Fest. Saturday afternoon at Aldo Leopold, learn, sample (including maple ice cream), and try hands-on activities to celebrate this spring in Wisconsin tradition.
- St. Patrick's parade. Sunday afternoon, head downtown for Madison's 25th annual parade, and stop in at Butterbird on Regent St. for green hot chocolate and face painting to get ready!
