Every week, Macaroni KID Madison highlights free/low-cost ideas to do with kids in the Madison area in addition to the events in our newsletter. Click the links for all the details.

This week features a few places featured in our experiences discount card, including:

  1. Carnaval Celebration. Thursday evening the Children's Museum has a free Latin-American Carnaval themed party where "Kids will dance to lively samba beats, create vibrant masks, and even join a mini parade."
  2. Family Trivia FridayAlso just $5 per team, the Curious Crafter on Friday night has trivia for all ages with lots of projects to work on while you guess. BYO food/drink welcome.
  3. Sun Prairie Frozen Fest. Starting Wednesday and running through Sunday, they've got tons of activities including a kids concert, skate night, cardboard sled race, candlelight hike, pancake breakfast, and more.
  4. Ice Cream for BreakfastOne of our favorite days of the year. Kids are up early anyway, so why not add sugar? Chocolate Shoppe stores across Madison have donuts or waffles to top with your favorite flavors.
  5. Winter Family Prom. Saturday night, for just $5 per family, the Monona Terrace gets fancy for families with crafts, a DJ/balloon-filled dance party, treats, and a fun photo booth.
