Every week, Macaroni KID Madison highlights free/low-cost ideas to do with kids in the Madison area in addition to the events in our newsletter. Click the links for all the details.
- Kid Disco. Saturday morning at the Great Dane Hilldale, join the DJ dance party - plus games, face painting, and free kid snacks.
- Aldo Leopold Candlelight hike. Saturday night, take an illuminated walk along the trails at Aldo Leopold Nature Center, sit by the bonfire, and grab a s'mores kit!
- Sun Prairie Trains. Both Saturday (all day) and Sunday (afternoon) at the Sun Prairie Library, see tons of model trains free (and get excited for the massive train show coming next month)
- Juggling workshops and show. The annual MadFest Juggling show Saturday evening requires tickets, but there are FREE open gym workshops Friday at Madison Circus Space, then Saturday and Sunday at O'keeffe Middle School
- MLK Day activities. Observe the holiday with a free community dinner Friday, and plan for the Sun Prairie observance Monday morning, youth call to service mid day, and Madison observance Monday evening.
