Every week, Macaroni KID Madison highlights free/low-cost ideas to do with kids in the Madison area in addition to the events in our newsletter. Click the links for all the details.
This week has plenty of holiday activities, and highlights include:
- Holiday markets. There are lots of options this weekend, but we're especially excited for the Christkindl Market at the beautiful Seven Acre Dairy in Paoli Friday-Sunday. Plus see our pinned post for VIP entry passes (valued $35 each!)
- Fitchburg lights and jubilee. Nearby Paoli...Fitchburg is ready for its glowup this weekend with a lights tour, Friday festivities at Agora, brunch with the grinch, gift wrapping, Santa at the fire station, cookies at Delta Beer Lab, movies prizes and lots more.
- Build a house. On Thursday you can build a house to support habitat for humanity, plus get cookies and a musical performance at Dreambank. Then, build a gingerbread house for free on Saturday at the new Black business hub.
- Dance and move. With it turning colder, it can be hard to stay active. But Level up fitness has a free holiday hip hop dance party Tuesday, and on Saturday morning do a holiday-themed bootcamp with kids at Burn Monona
- Cookie walk! On Sunday afternoon, explore down town (fun fact, parking is free!) and stop in for treats at 17 participating businesses.
The family fun continues all year with our experiences discount card - makes a great and easy gift, and supports kids wellness through Tri 4 Schools! Plus get tickets to see the Hero's Journey with Madison Youth Choirs, and next week's Nutcracker with Dance Wisconsin, the Little Matchstick Girl with Central Midwest Ballet.
What did we miss? You can add events to our calendar (it's free!) and contact us about promoting your event or organization.
