This week has tons of egg-related and spring fun, including:

  1. Egg hunts. There are SO many public and free options starting with a flashlight hunt for older kids Friday, then check the times and age groups Saturday (and many more next weekend too):
  2. Other egg fun. There's plenty of other pre-Easter fun including -drive through bunny and games in Waunakee, drive through breakfast with the bunny on the Northside, meet the bunny at Festival Foods, dye eggs in Deforest, and get tickets for the Easter craft (with great food and parent drinks) at Amara next Sunday.
  3. Free Children's Museums. This Thursday, the Madison Children's Museum is free, and Sun Prairie is free all day with extended hours.
  4. It's Officially Spring! Tuesday take a spring hike, join a nature/music playgroup in Waunakee or outdoors at Hoyt Park, make a flower craft Thursday, or dream of a Hawaiian vacation with a Lei and Moana Sunday, and see the first spring flowers on an Aldo Leopold Nature Center hike Saturday,
  5. NCAA Basketball. Whether or not you make a bracket, the NCAA basketball tournament starts Thursday fun with so many games and upsets- and with Caitlin Clark on the women's side, UW getting hot and a wide-open men's field this year will be full of madness. Union South, the Great Danes, Monks, the Lone Girl Brewing,  or...at .home with the CBS app are some kid-friendly options.

And be sure to let expecting and new parents know about the 9in9  event April 14 to connect to local resources!
