  1. Winter celebrations. The lights are all on, so now it's time for some other festivities with Friday's  Yule Ball (with costumes and a DJ!) in Sun Prairie, a  Warner Park fun night, a candy cane hunt in Middleton, or stroll down Willy St. Saturday, explore Christmas on the Farm in Waunakee,  or a Disney themed playtime at the Sensory Zone, and Sunday head to Hilldale for elf storytime in the morning and a menorah lighting in the evening.
  2. Skate Season. While the lakes haven't frozen yet, both the Edgewater and Monona River Rink are open. Monona's also has storytime and $1 ice cream Monday and free skate night Tuesday.
  3. Holiday treats. Do some art and get hot cocoa for kids 9-12 Monday, make a sweet treat at the Central Library Saturday, or walk State Street for the Downtown Madison's cookie walk Sunday,
  4. Outdoor Markets. There's the Fitchburg night market at 4 winds farm Friday, the christalkindlmarket in Paoli Friday-Sunday, Plus you can ride the Verona Express to Paoli Wednesday-Thursday
  5. Dance the day/night away. Central Midwest Ballet's show is Friday-Sunday,  bring the littles for music at central library Wednesday, get your pink out to see Barbie for free at Pinney Library Friday evening, plus David Landau is at Harmony bar again on Monday and Kids in the Rotunda features another kid musician favorite with Stuart Stotts Saturday - and plan ahead for the Nutcracker with Dance Wisconsin next weekend.
