Celebrate 28 Years of Enchanting Holiday Magic at Country Christmas

The Ingleside Hotel hosts drive-through nights, wagon rides, villages and more to visit

Nestled in the heart of Southeastern Wisconsin, Country Christmas at The Ingleside Hotel has become a beloved holiday tradition eagerly anticipated by locals and visitors alike. This year marks the 28th year of this magical event, which promises to immerse guests of all ages in the enchanting spirit of Christmas. With hundreds of captivating displays and millions of twinkling lights, Country Christmas is set to shine brighter than ever before.

Experience Country Christmas one of the following ways:

Illuminated Walk Through Nights – Three Nights Only

Country Christmas at The Ingleside Hotel will kick off the 2023 season with our fifth annual Illuminated Walk Through Nights on November 17, 18, 19, 2023. Hours are 5pm – 9pm with the last admission tickets sold at 8pm. Admission is $8 per person with $2 of each admission going directly back to the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County (CCC). Tickets are available to purchase online through the event website or that night in the ticket booth. Hot chocolate, cookies, and other concessions will be available in Christmas Village. 

Drive-Through Nights 

Country Christmas 2023 Drive-Through Nights will be held: November 24, 2023 – November 29, 2023 and December 1, 2023 – January 1, 2024. Hours for the drive-through event are 5pm to 9pm Sunday through Thursday and 5pm to 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Admission is $25 per carload Sunday – Thursday and $35 Friday and Saturday.  Pricing for passenger vans and limos is $50 and minibus admission is $60. Senior home minibus admission is available for a discounted rate of $40. 

Wagon Rides

Wagon rides are available to purchase on select nights and offer a unique way to experience Country Christmas. Dates this year include: November 26-29, December 3-7, and December 10-14, 2023. Rides start at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm and are $20 per person. Wagon rides include hot chocolate and a Christmas cookie and must be purchased online in advance. Tickets are first come, first serve and carload admission is not required for wagon rides.  

Admission to Country Christmas includes access to the following:

  • The Country Christmas Trail  features millions of holiday lights festively displayed on over a mile-long trail. Back by popular demand, guests will enjoy displays such as Bearville, a captivating 200-foot tunnel of 30,000 computerized lights, and more. Some new displays to look for this year include: Military Figures, Polar Bears, Butterfly Displays, and a new Bakery Building in Bearville built by Kettle Moraine High School Woods Class Students. 
  • Village Park, located at the end of the trail, is where guests can take an evening stroll and enjoy activities and photo opportunities. Don’t miss your chance to take a family photo in front of the 42 foot Christmas tree. There are additional displays including a walk-through light tunnel, multiple building fronts created by Kettle Moraine High School Art Students and holiday themed games.
  • Christmas Village is a building at the end of the trail that guests can come inside and visit.  Christmas Village is the perfect place to enjoy a hot cup of cocoa or an evening treat while surrounded by a cuddly cast of creatures and our working model train display. Guests will be entertained by our adorable Raccoon Band that dances and sings to Christmas music, Department 56 village collection and the Country Christmas Post Office where kids can write a letter to Santa. Don’t miss all of the new items available for purchase in the Christmas Village Market including concessions, 3D Holiday Glasses, Lazy Ones PJs, Outerwear, and more.  
  • The Streets of Bethlehem  is a building located at the end of the drive-through trail. Guests can walk through the collection of nearly life-sized Fontanini nativity figurines. Country Christmas has the only display of this magnitude in the area, a replica of the Pope’s personal collection.
