This week our partners at Hilldale have an amazing lineup planned for their North Pole Party, and our friends at Overture have Daniel Tiger Live, plus:

  1. Get out of this world. The Madison school district's planetarium has a public show Monday or Tuesday to explore our ecosystems. Want to travel closer to home? Check out tips on travelling with babies from our friends at Popins online Thursday.
  2. Fantasy in lights - without a car. No worries if you missed the hayride last week, this Tuesday you can explore the displays at Olin Park walking, biking, or strolling through - with free coffee and hot chocolate!
  3. Performing arts. There's a lot to see later in the week including Frozen Jr. in Verona, the Sound of Music in Sun Prairie, the Wisconsin Singers at the Memorial Union, the New Performer's show at Madison's Circus Space, the Big Sing at MyArts, and Drum Power at Kids in the Rotunda.
  4. More fall fun. The family hike in Oregon rocked last week, now head west for a Family Hike Saturday in Bluemounds with a fire, snack, story/craft in addition to the hike. And if you prefer your fall activities indoors, check out the fall festival at the Sensory Zone for lots of play options, treats, and DIY glitter bottles, and the first indoor Dane County Farmer's Market.
  5. Pick your hobby rocks, reptiles, or Badgers. This weekend there's the Gem and Mineral club annual show, the reptile and amphibian expo, and the last UW home football game with the Badger Bash at Union South.
