The Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation and Forestry (SPPRF) Department is excited to announce that this year’s Trunk or Treat will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. This free event will be hosted at the Family Aquatic Center parking lot and is brought to you by the generous presenting sponsorship of the Bank of Sun Prairie, with additional support from Forever Yours Jewelry and Macaroni Kid Madison.
This year's Trunk or Treat promises an abundance of family-friendly festivities. Over 30 vendors will be on-site, generously offering candy and hosting exciting games to keep attendees entertained. Participants will also have the opportunity to cast votes for their favorite decorated trunk, making it a truly interactive and engaging experience. In addition to the candy and games, Trunk or Treat 2023 has some exciting new additions.
Families can look forward to an array of activities such as food trucks with delicious offerings and a dazzling hula-hoop performance by the talented Hoop Elation from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, there will be a pumpkin decorating contest for attendees to sign up for! It is a celebration that has something for all ages.
Parking has been made convenient, with options available at Sheehan Park and the Sun Prairie School District lot. To ensure the safety of our visitors, dedicated cross guards will be on hand to assist pedestrians as they cross the streets. There will be multiple entrances open for attendees to avoid long lines.
