Every week, Macaroni KID Madison shares our five picks for things to do with your kids in the Madison area. Click the links for all the details. This week check out:

1. Fall nature time. Learn to stargaze Monday, take an owl walk at Token Creek Wednesday, drop the kids off at a night of a dinner cookout, night hike, and more Friday at the Lussier Center explore some leaf magic at Warner Park Saturday, and explore the prairie in Middleton Sunday.

2. Pumpkin Season. Go huntin' for pumpkins in Middleton Friday, hit the pumpkin party Saturday in Verona with a brewery, bonfire, and carving, or run the pumpkin smash dash Sunday in Waunakee.

3. A hoot, pie, and festival in Monona. A family favorite of ours is the Monona Fall Festival Saturday, with the hoot hoot hustle, pie tasting, and fun games and activities in a great park. [ Note - as of 10/9 the festival is canceled due to wet forecast]. The run is still on, and there are LOTS of other activities planned for Saturday though!

4. Movie Nights. See Spiderman and play with Legos Monday, or get in the spooky spirit with yard games and Hotel Transylvania Sunday

5. Free UW Sports. UW Football might get more attention (the Badger Bash is fun and free for families), and also on  Sunday the women's soccer game (free) has a photoshoot with Bucky and inflatable soccer pen, and the men's basketball team has a free and public scrimmage at the Kohl Center

And don't forget -  Kids in the Rotunda continues with an interactive concert this weektickets are on sale for Disney Jr., and GLEAM at Olbrich continues!
