1. Halfpint Resale. This week our partner is hosting our area's largest (and 100% local) consignment Halfpint Resale, with a mini-fall Fest Saturday.
2. Preview the market. Madison's indoor public market is finally coming! Enjoy samples and meet the vendors at an open-house Tuesday - and visit another Night Market Thursday
3. Eat with entertainment. Hilldale's last Tiny Diners for the season is Wednesday, and Thursday see the Madison Forward FC (while supporting Black Girl Magic Educational Services) or enjoy music with a taco truck at Goodly Farm, and catch the last ice cream boat-float Sunday at Wingra Boats.
4. Multicultural time. Saturday has Sun Prairie's multicultural fest Saturday, along with a Spanish-language book fair at the Madison library to start Hispanic Heritage Month and the Viva Mexico festival Sunday. Some (including my family) will be observing Rosh Hashana, friends at PJ library have some great resources to learn more about it.
5. Harvest celebrations. Fall hasn't officially started, but you can celebrate the harvest Saturday in Verona (or catch a shuttle) to the all Urban Harvest Festival, Waun or the Deerfield Apple Fest Sunday, Wauktoberfest Thursday-Sunday, and the Willy Street Fair Saturday-Sunday (personal favorite, the Sunday parade @ 11 am - stilts, bubble car, everyone, all of it).
