This week our partners have the 'Lil Badger Consignment Sale, the Water Lantern Festival (and you can win tickets here!), and I'm presenting on how to plan family activities, plus:

1. Fests from East to West. From the bigger weekend Good Neighbor Festival in Middleton to Orton Park on Madison's East side (don't miss Cycropia), to McFarland's end of summer bashTuesday and Luna's Block partySaturday.

2. Music in a park. Start at McKee ParkMonday, Sun Prairie's Wetmore Park Tuesday, the beautiful Goodly Farm Thursday, and San DamianoFriday.

3. Back to school. Learn soapy science at HilldaleThursday morning, then head to a neighborhood back school bash in the afternoon

4. Fun Friday downtown. There's lots to enjoy from the top of state street mid day, to Burgers on the Bay at Brittingham Boats, and (the last) Dane Dances on the Monona Terrace.

5. Community connections. Join United Way's community kickoffWednesday, Sun Prairie's night market Thursday and Madison's Bodega Friday
