Round up the fun kids (and grown ups!) in your life and join us for a super duper fun event - Kids Fest 2023 in Sun Prairie!
Explore Children’s Museum of Sun Prairie is hosting this free event for kids of all ages. There will be live music by Ken Lonquist, our famous bubble machine and some traveling museum exhibits, grilled cheese lunches (grilled on the spot!) for sale, and a grand finale Color Splash party!
What's a Color Splash Party you ask? Imagine the ultimate game of tag. Participants have small muslin bags filled with colored chalk that they throw at one another. There is running, laughing, colors flying, and getting messy for fun!
Each bag of colored chalk can be thrown at least 10 times. Every Color Splash Party Package comes with sunglasses to protect participants' eyes. The chalk washes away with water [publisher note - I went with my family in 2021, and even then with COVID-19 it was a super fun event. My kids aren't all that coordinated but they loved getting to throw the chalk at their parents and the cool effects it made]
We recommend that you purchase your Color Splash Party Packages ahead of time. There will be a limited number of Color Splash Party Packages available for purchase at Kids Fest.
