School's out! Congratulations to graduates (at any level)! This week, hang up the backpacks and hang out at:

1. Lakeside Kids seriesThis week it's James the magician at the Monona Terrace Tuesday.

2. Summer library kickoffs. Special events Tuesday in Sun Prairie and Madison at Brittingham Park, Wednesday book club in Fitchburg, and Thursday at Elver Park.

3. Eat at a park or market. Dine in the park with music and activities in Sun Prairie, enjoy the Strawberry Festival at the Fitchburg Farmer's Market, or the Schluter concert/Biergarten Thursday.

4. Loop the Lake. Support the lakes on an easy ride - with food and drink included, plus kids 10 and under are free Saturday.

5. Juneteenth Celebrations. Join Madison's celebration and a community dance party Saturday

And of course Father's Day is Sunday! Try to make your own card since dads are more than what you'll see in the store. Celebrate west for a picnic in Mt. Horeb, or east at the Cottage Grove Fireman's Festival (Th-Sun).
