Spring Into Sustainable Savings, Just Between Friends to Host Consignment Sale Coming in Dane County for Budget-Conscious Parents
Save on Children’s, Baby and Maternity Items at Pop-Up Consignment Event at The Tributary Hub Ahead of Summer Season
Just Between Friends, pop-up marketplace for families to buy and sell gently-used children, baby and maternity clothing and gear, is gearing up for its spring season consignment sale in Dane County.
As families prepare for spring cleaning and inflation continuing to take a toll on personal finances, the pop-up consignment sale serves as a resource to save and make money. The upcoming Just Between Friends sale will be held at The Tributary Hub located at 2102 E Springs Drive, Madison, WI, and take place from May 19-21, 2023.
- Presale – Thursday, May 18: Early shopping opportunity for sellers, ticket holders, and special guests (1st responders, new/pregnant moms, military, teachers, daycares, foster families).
- Open to the Public – Friday-Saturday, May 19-20: Admission is free through special Madison Mom ticket link and everyone is welcome.
- 50% Off Day – Sunday, May 21: The last day of the sale and many items are an additional 50% off.
At a Just Between Friends sale, parents and grandparents can shop a plethora of options for baby and children’s shoes, toys, clothing, maternity, and baby equipment at 50 - 90% off retail prices. As a consignor, they can sell gently-used items and earn 60% from sales. From toys and books, to maternity items and beyond, growing families can shop for all of their needs. Rather than throwing out items that no longer fit children or have a use, the items are able to be upcycled rather than ending up in a landfill.
“We are thrilled to be offering the parents in our community an affordable and sustainable option,” said Kristen Parent, owner of Just Between Friends Dane County. “Additionally, we are excited to be partnering with Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program who takes our sellers donated items and helps get them out to families who may be experiencing hardships.
Just Between Friends ensures that all products purchased and sold meet mandatory safety standards. Staff members stay up-to-date on current recalled items and will ensure that there are no recalled products at the sale. The brand has an on-staff product safety specialist to make sure that all items are safety-checked to meet current standards, including essential baby gear like strollers and car seats.
