Madison Area Berry Picking Guide

This guide is sponsored by Bures Berry Patch. Thank you for supporting our site!

Berry season in Wisconsin is short but sweet and a great excuse to get outside with the kids. Whether you’re after strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries, there are plenty of local farms near Madison where you can pick your own or grab a pre-picked box to take home.

These are the best spots to find fresh berries this season and many of them are family-run and worth the short drive. Just be sure to check each farm’s hours and picking conditions before heading out, as availability can change quickly depending on weather and crowds.

Time to grab a bucket and make some memories (and maybe a pie or two).
