If you’re looking for a fall activity where the kids can burn some energy, play outside, and hopefully not ask “Are we done yet?” five minutes after you arrive, put Enchanted Valley Acres on your list.
Located just north of Cross Plains, Enchanted Valley Acres turns into a giant fall playground each year with pumpkins, corn mazes, wagon rides, animals and a LOT of activities for kids. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot.

What To Expect
The farm has more than 60 activities included with admission, so there is plenty to explore once you get there. Some of the activities include: giant pumpkin jump pads, corn mazes, giant bubble wands, obstacle courses, yard games, pumpkin bowling, wagon ride and so much more.
There are also goats and chickens to visit, which is always a win when you have little kids who love animals.
And then there are the giant slides.
These are probably one of the things you’ll hear about first when people talk about Enchanted Valley Acres, and for good reason. The farm has a few giant slides where you grab a burlap sack and head down the hill. Kids can race each other, and yes, adults can join in too.
The Corn Maze Is Huge
If your family likes a good corn maze, there’s plenty of room to wander here. Enchanted Valley Acres has more than eight acres of corn mazes, with two options depending on how much of a challenge you’re looking for: an easier maze and a regular maze.
Apparently “regular” means “you may want to bring someone who actually knows how to get out.”š
My friend and I took five kids into the regular maze, which was supposed to take around 30 minutes. After at least 45 minutes, we finally decided to admit defeat and make our way out. I’ve never claimed to be good at corn mazes, and this experience definitely did not change that.
The good news is the kids thought it was hilarious, and if your family actually knows how to navigate a maze, you may have a much better track record than we did.

You Can Make a Day of It
One of the things I like about places like this is that there's no rushing. We spent 4.5 hours here and didn't even come close to getting everything done.
You can ride the wagon, let the kids play, check out the animals, explore the corn maze, grab lunch and then let them go play again.
I didn't see signs that you couldn't bring in your own food and there are picnic tables available.
A Few Things to Know Before You Go
A couple of things I'd keep in mind when planning your visit:
- Wear comfortable shoes. You're going to be walking and playing, and the farm recommends boots if the corn maze is muddy.
- Check the weather. This is an outdoor activity, so dress accordingly and also check the weather for rain. You can't get a refund if it starts raining and you want to leave.
- Plan for snacks. You'll be here awhile and will likely want to refuel. Food and drink are available to purchase.
- Buy tickets ahead of time for popular dates. The farm says tickets can sell out on busy days, so buying in advance is a good idea.
- Leave the dog at home unless you're going on a special dog-friendly date. Pets aren't allowed during the regular Fall Fun season. In 2026, the special Paws & Pumpkins dates are October 31 and November 1.
Put This One on Your Fall List
If you're looking for a fall outing that can fill up a good chunk of your day, Enchanted Valley Acres is a really fun option.
It's not just “go pick a pumpkin and leave.” My son was impressed in the first 10 seconds. And honestly, sometimes that's exactly what we're looking for as parents...somewhere the kids can run around and have fun while we get to enjoy a little bit of fall, too.
